HASC Labor Resource Library
Overview
The Hospital Association of Southern California has created the HASC Labor Resource Library, an online information source and research tool that provides timely information about labor activity in California in general, as well as specific information about unions and union locals, union leadership and the outcomes of elections and negotiations.
Unionization is affecting every segment of the healthcare industry and the State of California has been particularly affected. In response to growing demand from hospital and healthcare system executives to be fully informed about this significant challenge, HASC created this library to provide invaluable insights on labor unions' impact on hospitals.
What Is Included In Your Subscription?
Your subscription to the HASC Labor Resource Library includes online access to an array of essential resources, including:
- Labor Activity Overview. An executive summary of recent labor activity in the state of California, updated quarterly, including high-level charts and regional maps.
- Union Profiles. Comprehensive profiles of each of the national unions most active in California hospitals, including: an overview, essential facts, union history, current leadership structure, highlights of union financial reports.
- Petition & Election Data. A database of NLRB petition filings for union certification and decertification, including the results of subsequent elections and current contracts status, when available.
- Contract Expiration Data. A database of California hospitals' collective bargaining agreement expiration dates, based on FMCS F7 Reports.
- Current Contracts. A growing archive of recent union contracts with California hospitals1.
- Union Financial Reports. An archive of required financial and organizational information filings for labor unions and union locals active in healthcare in California.
- Union Constitutions and Bylaws. An archive of constitutions and bylaws of labor unions and union locals active in healthcare in California.
- Powerful Search Engine. This dynamic research tool allows you to search the entire Labor Resource Library by keyword or category for information specific to any hospital, any region, any union or union local, or any class of employees.
- Bi-Annual Webinars. Webinars focus on a variety of timely and compelling labor-related topics. Presenters include labor experts and industry practitioners with years of proven experience in labor relations.

Cost and Terms
The HASC Labor Resource Library is available as an annual subscription to members of the California Hospital Association, including members of HASC, HASDIC and HCNCC, at the following rates:
- Individual Facility -- $1,999 per year
- System with 2 to 7 hospitals -- $4,500 per year
- System with 8 to 10 hospitals -- $6,500 per year
- System with 11 hospitals and above -- $8,500 per year
Subscribing hospitals or healthcare systems can provide online access to any number of executives, provided that they are affiliated with the subscribing hospital or system.
